Whatever your creative purpose we want to encourage you to express yourself in a healthy way. Sharing your story through visual art can not only help you but it can also help others. *This location is not wheelchair accessible

Fleye, Free, and Forward: An ILAVA Function

The Kehrein Center presents the second event in our series, "Sustaining Women, Sustaining The World". Fleye, Free, and Forward: An ILAVA Function, is a fashion showcase merging wearable art with social consciousness. Owners Rahel & Mwasi Mwitula present ILAVA’s socially responsible fashion, promoting sustainable living for Tanzanian women. Kelley D. Moseley of K~Fleye jewelry joins to highlight her collections of one-of-one jewelry, accessories and handbags, and share her entrepreneurial journey. Both brands celebrate African & African American styles.

Press On Nail Class

AGES: 14+ (family friendly)

It is all in the details. Painting on press on nails is about the tiny details. Come get creative with us. Rather you just want a pretty basic set for everyday or a bold creative set we’ve got you covered.

In this class you will create ONE set of 10 PRESS on nails to take with you.

Participants will learn: press on nail proper fit, paint on a tiny space, apply decals, polish, paint, rhinestones and glitter, file and various shapes and basic color theory, illustrate a design and try to mimic it on the press on nail surface.

All materials included. This is a fun interactive class. Children ages 14-16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, but parents do not have to take the class but it will be fun!. There is a large waiting room where you can wait while the class is in session. So bring some work, a book to read or shop KFLEYE while you wait to see what is created. All extra guest must also wait in the waiting room

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
